Welcome to our holiday home in Lelant, Cornwall! 

Lelant is a beautiful village located on the west coast of Cornwall, just north of St Ives and Carbis Bay. 

It is a brilliant base to explore the west coast of Cornwall, with its stunning scenery, food scene, and artists. Our self-catering holiday home is perfectly positioned to make the most of your Cornish getaway. 

From romantic retreats to holidays for large families, our luxury Lelant holiday home is sure to inspire you. The cosy detatched house in the heart of the peaceful village that is bound by the Hayle Estuary to the east and the sweep of St Ives Bay to the north. The home is equipped with all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable. 

The nearby Porthkidney Beach, which has been praised by the Marine Conservation Society Good Beach Guide for its water quality, is a vast sandy beach ideal for holidaymakers. Carbis Bay, with its calm waters and little surf, is also nearby and is a Blue Flag award beach, meaning it is super-clean. When you are staying in this area, a trip to St Ives is a must. With cobbled back streets that are filled with independent shops, galleries, and cafes, this town has much to see and do.

I’m from Scandinavia and have been waiting for a trip to Cornwall for a long time. I’m so happy I managed to find Turnstones – it’s the best place for a long-term stay!

St. Ives

St Ives is a picturesque seaside town located in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The town is situated on the coast of the Celtic Sea, north of Penzance and west of Camborne. In former times, it was commercially dependent on fishing. The decline in fishing, however, caused a shift in commercial emphasis, and the town is now primarily a popular seaside resort, notably achieving the title of Best UK Seaside Town from the British Travel Awards in both 2010 and 2011. The town is also renowned for its number of artists and has some of the finest art galleries in the UK. St Ives has a vibrant buzz and there’s always lots going on. Food is also important here, so you will not be disappointed gastronomically. The town has five fantastic beaches, stunning views, and great surf.

The city has a population of 18,766 according to the 2011 census 1. Truro has a rich history and was once a trade center through its port and as a stannary town for tin mining. Penzance

Penzance is a seaside town and port located in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is the most westerly major town in Cornwall and is about 64 miles (103 km) west-southwest of Plymouth and 255 miles (410 km) west-southwest of London1. The town has a population of 21,200 according to the 2011 census. Penzance is a popular tourist destination and has a varied and interesting history. It is famous for its association with the Gilbert and Sullivan opera The Pirates of Penzance. The town has a number of interesting features, including the Egyptian House, The Admiral Benbow public house, the Union Hotel, and Branwell House, where the mother and aunt of the famous Brontë sisters once lived. Regency and Georgian terraces and houses are common in some parts of the town. The nearby sub-tropical Morrab Gardens has a large collection of tender trees and shrubs, many of which cannot be grown outdoors anywhere else in the UK .
